During a period of three years Jens experienced the most beautiful and the worst. The most beautiful euphoria when his son and daughter were born and the darkest waves of grief when his dad and sister passed away. During this turbulent time the music became an important part of Jens´ life. Changing emotions were processed through the songs and the debut album was created. The album also illustrates the normal everyday-life filled with obligations, expectations and often bad coffee at work. Jens Andersson releases his debut album ”Stort glas av kärlek” 27th of January 2017 on Jam Production. One of the songs is a Swedish cover version of Avicii´s Waiting for love. The album is recorded in Studio Epidemin with help of Henrik Cederblom (Sofia Karlsson, Daniel Lemma m.fl.) and Hasse Asteberg (Mando Diao, Eldkvarn m.fl.). It is produced by Henrik och Jens and 5 of the songs are arranged by Martin Schaub (Salem al Fakir, Veronica Maggio, Laleh, Timbuktu m.fl.). The songs are mixed by Åke Linton (EST) in "Svenska Grammofonstudion", where they also are mastered by Hans Brookes (Timo Räisänen, José Gonzáles m.fl.). Jens Andersson is a singer/songwriter from Gothenburg, Sweden, but are for the moment living in Oslo, Norway. He performs original songs with Norway's most charming band. They play clever lyric-based music with beautiful melodies. The songs have a hint of Cornelis Vreeswijk and Bob Dylan-inspired lyrics and a "Bo Kaspers groove" but absolutely have a distinctive sound which is nicely delivered by two multi instrumentalists / singers, bass and drums. The last five years they have played at many festivals and concert venues throughout Norway and Sweden. The band has been on the same stage as many famous bands in Norway, but also done several opening acts for Norwegian legends like Ole Paus, Bjørn Eidsvåg and Åge Aleksandersen.
