The 1950s in Germany was the time of the so-called economic miracle, in which German cinema also experienced a new heyday. The elaborately produced music films with a large star cast were particularly popular. This edition of our "Wirtschaftswunder Kino" collection is devoted to another fine selection top productions, to which outstanding musicians such as Michael Jary, Lotar Olias, Gerhard Winkler, Heino Gaze und Hans-Martin Majewski contributed the music. The list of stars in this edition also reads like a who's who of German cinema and radio celebrities: Sonja Ziemann, Rudolf Prack, Liselotte Pulver, Rita Paul, Paul Horbiger plus many others and in addition, famous vocal ensembles like the Bernd Hansen Choir and the Svend Saaby Choir.
