On their debut project the Jones Family share incredibly insightful songs and express excellent musicianship. Meet and experience the original Jones Family band consisting of siblings Dewitt & Kim Jones of Grammy, Dove nominated and Stellar Award winning band Forever JONES- He Wants It All(EMI); Neal Jones (Temple of the Holy Ghost (Verity), Use Me (Integrity) and Purpose & Praise (COAH), Preston Jones (Transformed), with sister Annie-Jones Barnes on bass, and sisters Gloria Jones-Dance and Dorcas Jones on vocals. Good friend Darriel Menefee is the drummer on the project and worked with Neal on much of the arrangements. The project was produced by fresh newcomer Terry Shelton (Clearwater). This is an incredibly enjoyable debut project by the family. Featuring hit songs like "Use Me", "What a Privilege" and "Once Again". All songs were written by either Neal Jones or his big brother Dewitt and wife Kim Jones. Each song is incredibly sensitive, and highly anointed. When you listen to this project you will truly experience the presence of the Lord. "You Are the Light" is a song written by Neal Jones but debuting the soprano vocals by little sister Dorcas- it is a hot and energetic choir songs compelling listners to shine on! Not to be outdone, little brother Preston includes his rich vocals on the songs "Oh How Faithful", a tune you can dance to featuring a jazzy flavor. Once again written by Neal, this project demonstrates the deep giftings apparent in this family. Of course the incomparable Kim Jones is featured on songs such as the opening song "The Glory of the Lord" written by her husband Dewitt Jones, and the sweet and lovely ballad "Change Me While I Wait". "Think on Jesus is another fan favorite featuring Kims powerhouse vocals. Neal comes back with another incredible vocal on "Stay In The Unity of The Spirit", which he wrote and adapted directly from the word of God. With vocals nailed down, the musicianship is par excellent. Featuring such noted musicians as Darren Motamedy on Saxaphone; Phil Curry on keys; Brooke Lazart also on keys; and percussionist Daryl Briggs. Longtime friend Darrel Hawk is incredible on keys along with Pamela Davis. Definitely inspirational music for daily living, the project met with rave reviews from radio and magazine media.
