His 2010 nomination was for Country Male Artist. 2011 saw John up for and winning awards for Best male Vocalist of the year for "BAD SIDE OF ME" and Best Country and Western Song with "THERES NO GETTING OVER YOU". He was also nominated for 3 Awards in Europe for 2008 by the European Country Music Association. Those nominations were for Artist of the Year, Male Vocalist of The Year, and Song of The Year (Outlaw Runnin' Wild). John was nominated for Breakthrough Artist by New Music Weekly in 2009. He was nominated Male Artist Of The Year (2010) on the Independent Music Network.
