‘Two Hearts’ is Martin’s acclaimed sophomore album that won her the 2009 ECMA Pop Recording of the Year. The album offers nine songs that merge alt. country flourishes with a cinematic pop/folk backdrop. Martin’s song writing plots vulnerability against her strong vocals in a manner reminiscent of artists such as Lucinda Williams and Sheryl Crow.
