Belial EP
简介
German Deep Tech aficionado Charnaux signs the 8th instalment of Kuukou, an original three piece offering featuring two remixes entitled Fatal. The eponymous track spearheads the release, summoning a gloomy ambiance by the way of raw bass lines, metallic percussion and industrial glitches. Boasting a relentless groove that stops for no one, Fatal is bound to glue you to the floor in a dance-induced frenzy. Nico Pusch adds his signature Sunrise blend to the Fatal blueprint, transforming it into an uplifting melody accented with bell-like gleams while preserving its initial dancefloor-ready cachet. On the flip side, Panoptikum channels dark sub bass and mechanical sound bites in a construction that stays true to its title. On a foundation of deep alternating layers, a plethora of auditive slices and crunches manages to build a versatile motif instilling a murky yet inquisitive mood. Hong Kong/Taiwan based DJ and producer BB Deng provides an alternate rendition of Panoptikum, conveying her decade long experience into an acid-tinged remix that is as mesmerizing as it is effervescent. Elephant comes in the form of a joint effort with Vince, completing the trifecta of deep, tech and spaciousness. While the former tracks are centred around the first two, Elephant kicks off with a deeply expansive base, championed by an incessant lead line. With minimal components and an immersive backdrop, it’s a surefire attention grabber.
