Ankunft is a project of two very close friends: one a musician, drummer, producer (Alfred Vogel), the other a `personal-coach`, a psychologyst and analyst, an in-the-deep-dark-night writer. when a bad illness hit Stefan, both already were involved with a music-spoken-word project called "lass leuchten!!!". Stefan started to write a lot in that time (as he always did ...) but this time his poetry got that kind of blue, a deep, sad touch, a lot of questions concerning his life and life itself. Alfred was very touched by these origin poems and words and startet to work on that stuff. Soon they found out, that the music was open another level to the poems. There is always something between the words, something that words are not able to capture. But the music did it - and Stefan was blown away by how direct the music came to his heart. They decided to work together with two actresses, Angelika Hagen from Vienna and Patci Weil from Cologne, Germany, who´s voices opened again a new level of interaction. Angelika is more the intelectual type, she pushes the listener to react on the rough lyrics, while Patci is more emotional and leaves you hangin´in between the words and the colores she gives them.

The very ambient, drum´n´bassy, jazzy music is played by a couple of the best musician friends of Alfred: Markus Depretto, Peter Herbert, Richard Cousins, Charles McNeal, Peter Madsen, Lugas Hagen and others. The music and the lyrics are quite demanding, it is not easy listening stuff, but you will discover new facettes every time you will listen to it.
