Born out of Sydney’s eastern beaches, Mesmeriser is a trio of high school mates with a knack for psychedelic-tinged rock and roll. After having previous singles ‘Sink or Swim”, ‘XXX’ and “Don’t Tell Your Friends’ grace community radio stations around the country including Sydney’s FBI Radio, the boys have pieced together their 6-track debut EP “These Few Hours” canvasing their current sound and hinting at things to come. Mastered by Andrew Egson (DMA’s, Matt Corby), the EP tells the tales of late nights, hazy memories, good times and bad decisions through Mesmeriser’s own medium of balancing biting riffs and hard bass lines with sweet melodies.

Touching on everything from Tame Impala and The Kinks, to Bloc Party and Frank Ocean, the three distinct styles of each member of Mesmeriser adds to the melting pot of ideas evident across this latest release.

Fiercely DIY, their upcoming debut EP (due September 15th) was recorded and produced by the bands own drummer Oscar Sharah (Grouch Productions) at Wonderland Studios overlooking Tamarama Beach.

Gaining a reputation for their rollicking live shows, the trio has been relatively nonstop in the Sydney music scene for the past 2 years including the sold out Dog Days Festival at the Oxford Art Factory, as well on the road such as their appearance at Byron’s Rabbits Eat Lettuce Festival. Expect some good times coupled with mind-bending tunes when they launch the EP at Brighton Up Bar on September 30th with support from Balko and SPRUCED MOOSE.
