John Docimo is a pianist, songrwriter and musical evangelist who has dedicated his life to seek and worship the Lord. He sings at churches, outdoor events, conferences and missions. A college graduate with a degree in Biology, his life plans for medicine were interrupted near the end of his pre-med studies at the University of Illinois. After meeting with a group of students at church, while in his apartment, he had an unexpected experience of God's personal love and the presence of the Holy Spirit. Soon sensing a call from God on his life, John enrolled at St Meinrad Seminary in Indiana to enter the ministry as a Roman Catholic Priest. Three years before ordination, John realized his calling was to minister among all denominations. In 1994 he founded Upward Call Evangelistic Ministries and later started Songpress Inc., a music publishing company and recording studio. John's music touches the hearts of people from all walks of life, and many different ethnic backgrounds and brings people into an experience similar to his, enabling people to hear their own personal call from a Loving God, and to fulfill what they were created to accomplish. Healing Streams was recorded in 1996 at a time when John was going through a personal trial with sickness. It was recorded as a thanksgiving to God for sparing his life, and as an expression of John's love for his Creator. This CD has been a source of comfort and inspiration for thousands and played in churches, schools, sickbeds, nursing homes and of course in lots of people's vehicles and living rooms.
