Family Heirlooms is a collection of songs that were recorded over the last ten years since the Fantastik Fam was established. Nac One raised Mic Anthony and MC Mystique in the Hip Hop culture. The best way for Nac to relate to his fast growing teenagers was to train them as emcees and performers and create music. The group formed naturally for the kids interest in the culture was being fully exposed to them at the ground level being surrounded by talented artists in the crew and family. At the time when the Fam had moved from Berkeley to Humboldt County we did not know anyone so we spent our time building our Hip Hop skills like Monks go to meditate far from society. The Fantastik Fam was able to gain a nice buzz locally as we began showcasing our skills at the local venues eventually opening up for most of the acts coming through the area. Some of the shows we did in that time inclluded: Gza & Killa Priest, UGod, Immortal Technique, Akir & Kidz in the hall, Planet Asia, CRayz Walz, Brother Ali, Rakaa Iriscience and DJ Babu and the list goes on.
