Buck started his recording career in a dilapidated, musty old Shack Called "The Shed" in 2003. Driven by determination, and lack of funds, he recorded his own music as a writer, singer, musician and engineer teaching himself several disciplines at once for years until he was accomplished enough to begin networking with other local musicians. In 2005, he was discovered by Jeff Attal of Attal Recordings, where he recorded originals with his hard rock band, "Soul Strung." He worked with Attal Recordings for about 6 years, recording, engineering and producing with artists, Citizen Cope, Gary Clark Jr., Phranchyze, Sumner Erikson, Buddy Forsythe, Hour Band, Fatback Circus, and many others. After years on the grind, Buck was invited by an artist named, "Mannie B" to attend a meeting from an ad Mannie B had replied to on Craigslist. Enter Vicki Holmes and Evenbreak Productions. At the meeting Buck met with Vicki and Adam McInnis, as well as other established artists, writers and producers. Buck was invited to join the Evenbreak team, and since, has taken on many responsibilities as a producer, engineer, session player, technical consultant, and artist, as well as other jobs that just need handling. Buck shares writing credits with top-notch writers, Vicki Holmes, Helen Darling (Jo Dee Messina Bring On The Rain) Robin Wiley, Ed Berghoff (Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood) Adam McInnis, and many others. He has written, recorded, engineered and produced 7 albums with Vicki Holmes at Evenbreak Productions to date.
