Two Vienna based dj/producers, Joakim Antoniadis and Thomas Lehninger teamed up for this Wla Music release. Joakim A. & Rootless are presenting some heavy tribal stuffs but at the same time these tracks are pretty funky. We Have Disco is a reminds us how it was in the old days. Jazzy hits, cutted, delayed vox. Got it all! Bringing this style further we got 'I Can Feel You!'. This one more like a hardgroove track, but has some funky sounds too. 'Funk Me In!' starts pretty dark, but at the break the funky stuffs returning. Our last track, Grooving Mad is keeping the touch with the new wave, also having oldschool elements.
