简介
Robin Horlock is a talented singer/songwriter with a distinctive voice. This story began in 2002 when Horlock recorded his solo record "Risk To Try" in Atlanta, GA. Working with Grammy winning producer Don McCollister and guitarist Ryan Newell (Sister Hazel), the album was recorded in 21 days. "Risk To Try" is an introspective look into Horlock's life, and has been well received by many critics. In April 2003, shortly after returning from Atlanta, Horlock formed RHB to support the new release. The Robin Horlock Band is a fresh, original pop/rock act based in the Metro-Detroit area. Backed by a tight and powerful band, Horlock’s songs come across with passion and conviction. RHB's energy is infectious. The bands influences cross over many genres, creating a unique blend of upbeat rock songs, heart-stopping ballads and danceable grooves. Catching RHB live is a memorable experience. After performing extensively for two years Horlock & Co. stepped into Rustbelt Studios in Royal Oak to record some new material. Produced by Marlon Young and mixed by platinum engineer Al Sutton (Kid Rock, Detroit Cobras) RHB’s “EP” was released to a packed house at The Magic Bag in Ferndale, MI in July 2006. The “EP” has received strong reviews and is a stepping stone to the planned recording and release of a new album in the near future. Whether solo or with the full band, Robin Horlock has performed consistently over the past 4 years. In 2006 alone Robin racked up almost 180 shows, and plans to better that in 2007. Horlock has performed all over the country from New York to Los Angeles and is constantly chartering new territory. He has been selected to showcase at numerous music festivals and conferences including the CMJ Music Marathon (3 Times) in New York, NY. With an enthusastic and evergrowing fanbase Horlock is making his mark on the music scene.
