Dama Nilz is an a**-kicking music-making machine, who's been rapping, singing, and producing since she was 16. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she does her county justice, and upholds the reputation Brooklyn has for breeding stars. Dama was always a trouble maker, spending the majority of her pre-teen and teen years wreaking havoc in the streets or in the Group Home System. It was only at age 16 that she began consistently recording and performing around the NYC area. Dama Nilz credits music for getting her through some of the hardest years of her life. Times got rough around the age of 19. Court cases and homelessness had Nilz sidetracked, selling drugs to get by. But through it all, she never missed a show. Performing for free every chance she got. By the age of 21 she put out 2 albums (The Wrath of Mother Nature, Hell Bound Heaven Sent), learned how to produce and was credited on numerous Hip Hop albums, and toured the world. She joined Zeps in Norway, on an adventure through London and Amsterdam, recording songs, videos (Timezone, Potion) and performing her songs. The CD’s she sold got her through her trip, and supported her w**d habit. She also performed at Vans Warped Tour 2012 and 2013, making great friends and an impact along the way. Dama Nilz has shared stages with the likes of Ghostface Killah, Boot Camp Click, The Lost Boyz, Beatnuttz, and Rah Diggah, to name a few. Also winning rap competitions such as the EOW MC Challenge, twice. She is currently working on her upcoming self-produced album titled Dama-Nation., and an album with her band Biggie Hendrix. Dama started a production company with fellow female artist Darya, and together they shoot, direct, and edit videos. This girl works extremely hard, makes great music, and is all about being a positive role model for young girls. The kind of role model that tells your kids to turn what they believe to be imperfections, into something the can wear proudly on their chest.
