Can you have a band that plays alt-blues/country style rock and roll and likes to improvise using the freedom of jazz and gypsy influences when performing? That was the question Glenn Ford posed when assembling The Record Machine, his new original band. The answer was "of you course bloody can, just do it well!".

Marrying a deep love of true songwriting and flying by the seat of your pants improvisation became the clear goal. The ability to stretch out within the framework of a memorable and well constructed song and have that shared experience of audience and band pushing each other to places neither might have gone is where the magic lies for Glenn Ford and The Record Machine.

Red Means Go is their debut album and hopefully just the beginning of something special for this band.
