Futurama Laboratory focuses on ambient, electronica, techno and experimental music so far. This compilation CD, Futurama-Lab. 9, contains a variety of 7 tracks composed by 6 artists. The track list and sounds like: 01. Dr. Sloe Gin / keybook U (KAGIMOTO Yu) It is the music tune which the singing voice of nostalgic (?) techno-pop makes on a danceable sequence sound and rhythm. BUT, at the same time, an atmosphere peculiar to the 21st century filled to expectation and uneasiness is drifting exactly. It is completely a wonder ! Sounds Like: Perfume, Susumu Hirasawa, TM NETWORK, YMO, David Bowie 02. Nebulous Pulsation / Cuevox This is an ambient techno tune by glittering synthesizer sounds, which unfolds slowly and gradually. Recommended for those who like Warp Records and/or R&S Records (especially its ambient sublabel Apollo) in the '90s. Sounds like: Global Communication, Bola, Mike Oldfield 03. Jergel II / hetting Ingredients: "Ambient: Crick house : minimal techno = 5 : 4: 1" Sounds like: Andy Vaz, Biosphere, Brian Eno 04. walking bells / tekeshima Electro music that changes blithely. Various sounds are blocked. Sounds like: royksopp, the books, the orb, mouse on mars 05. Contour / TDO This is an ambient chill music by synth-sound with slow rhythm. This has a psychedelic and melancholy atmosphere. Sounds like: Biosphere, Fennesz, Brian Eno 06. Kshatriya girl (proto-type mix) / keybook U (KAGIMOTO Yu) This music that is proto-type mix is created only by the synthesizer. The danceable sequence and rhythm which leave gradually and go up ! Lyricism and strength are added there. Sounds like: Derrick May, Brian Eno, TM NETWORK, Sakamoto Ryuichi, Soft Ballet 07. The inner man / Sesqui This ambient track has no rhythm or no melody. It can be played on orchestral instruments, though it sounds like desultory electronic sounds. Sounds like: John Cage
