简介
After spending two and a half years sleeping through high school, Nick Logan decided to do himself and his teachers a favor and leave. He embarked on a nationwide tour with The Smyrk, stopping briefly in Camarillo, CA to record with Ben Kenney (Incubus, The Roots). Nick later toured with My American Heart throughout the United States and Europe. Nick’s appetite for knowledge eventually led him to Columbia University, where he graduated with a BA in History and a premedical sciences concentration. During his time at Columbia, Nick wrote and recorded two records: "Songs in Almost Blue" (a collection of ten short, solo piano pieces in the vein of Mendelssohn's "Songs Without Words" and Chopin's famous Nocturnes), and "Oscillations." Since realizing that he would make a terrible (yet doubtlessly compassionate) doctor, and that music is his only source of true happiness, Nick has devoted his life to making interesting, important, and refreshing music that will hopefully brighten your day. "The Impromptu Electric" is dedicated to my mother and stepfather, with special thanks to Kim and Gretchen Granbery and their wonderful home.
