SIT DOWN BLUES is here! The new CD, SIT DOWN BLUES, featuring singer/songwriter/bass player Lee Holmes, from Iroquois Falls, Northern Ontario is a bluesy swingin' treat and it's available now. On SIT DOWN BLUES, Lee sings thirteen original songs by the Pierini/Homes writing team. With titles like: It's No Secret, You'll Never Know, Sit Down Blues, Mouse, and Sara Jones, the tunes reflect a wide range of familiar scenarios with humour, pathos and catchy rhythms. The musical arrangements are laced with Mike Burton's soulful guitar licks, superb drumming by Mike Catapano, the magic of Peter Karp's guitar and keyboard phrasing, and some rich driving guitar work by Sue Foley. SIT DOWN BLUES was produced by Nashville troubadour and songwriter Peter Karp. Peter is one half of the great KarpFoley musical collaboration that includes Sue Foley a Canadian singer/songwriter/guitar virtuoso. Karp produced this particular CD for three reasons: because he was intrigued by the lyrics, because he really digs Lee's voice and because of Mike's guitar tone and style.
