The Breathing Machines is a concept album. First inspiration was the italian artist, writer and movie director Pier Paolo Pasolini. He died in 1975 and his words had been considered dangerous by politics and establishment people. He used to write and speak about the new media, especially television, and the way they are able to control the masses, letting people know only what is good to know and let the people understand things in a way which is considered as proper by the establishment.

This concept album tells about a future where people are completely unable to make decisions, to have tastes or opinions anymore. A future where everyone is just a breathing machine, a terminal of a society that want people to do things in a mechanical way, without thinking on the consequences and, least of all, on the purposes of their actions.

But somethings finally will change humanity's destiny.
