Glass Mind is a Mexican progressive metal band founded by guitarist Benjamin Berthier and drummer Edgar Garduño in mid-2005. The lineup includes Michel Villamor on bass, guitarist Pablo Berthier and Alejandro Afuso on keyboards. In 2005, the band participated in the contest Yamaha Band Competition achieving the 3rd place nationally. Likewise, in 2006 involved again in the Yamaha Band Competition getting this time the 1st place. The prize was a trip to Japan. In 2007, the band won 1st place in the competition nationally, Rock Olympus. Their debut album, Haunting Regrets is published in August 2008 by the record label Circo Volador. In 2010, Glass Mind toured various cities in Japan, appearing at different forums in Tokyo, Osaka and Shiga. In June 2011, the band will release a complete re-recording of the album Haunting Regrets for worldwide distribution. This new version includes the participation of Dante Díaz (War Kabinett, The Arkitecht) as guest singer as well as new arrangements and was produced entirely by Glass Mind. The mixing work was carried out at Tower Studio in Montpellier France by Brett Caldas Lima (Arch Enemy, Between The Buried And Me, Cynic, Devin Townsend Project, Freak Kitchen, Lacuna Coil, The Arkitecht, To-Mera). The artwork was carried out by the brazilian designer Gustavo Sazes (Arch Enemy, Almah, Manowar, Kamelot, Angra, Century Media, Sony Music, Nuclear Blast).
