VISNJA (Name’s meaning-“Cherry”) was born on 26th Nov 1979, to a music family. From an early age, it was clear that she would be an entertainer of some sort. By the side of her older brother Zelimir, little Cherry started to sing and dance as well. In 1988-89, the public for the very first time had the chance to hear the names “Zelimir & Visnja”, brother & sister from Novi Sad. Two little miracles that can sing, dance and play modern music. They were only 11 & 9 and were considered a fresh breeze for the local Pop-Rock scene. Immediately they received a nickname “HIT-Kids”, because they were so unique, youngest duet appearance ever on these grounds. With their original appearance & show, they roamed within Ex-Yugoslavia & Europe, not being aware that this would be their lives calling (destiny) and eternal love. They traveled all over the country and appeared in all possible festivals winning enviable results, appearing live on TV shows either as performers or Show-Hosts. They were always new and unique with their songs and performances. Then they have their own hit LP, CD and tape under the name “Sedmo Nebo” (7th Sky), barely being 16 & 14 for the National Publishing Record Company PGP-RTS, which saw the day of light in 1994. 1996.After their 7 day tour in the USA (where they sang to the American crowd), in New York, Duet “Zelimir & Visnja” cease to continue their co-operation, each following their own solo careers. Upon her return from the USA, Cherry performs live in Festivals, clubs over Europe, private parties, elite hotels, discotheques, nightclubs, etc.She also continued to host the TV shows on the National TV Station. She spent thousands of hours in music studios singing back and main vocals for the popular names in the Serbian Music Industry. Visnja is considered as one of the best female Vocalist in the country. September ’06. Visnja takes place in the famous Radio Festival of Serbia with the song ” I JUST CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT YOU ”, which was written and produced by her brother Zelimir, and hits the National Charts. Visnja, nowadays works on her solo album and has just won an enviable results on DISCOVERY 2012 Festival, an International song competition in Bulgaria.
