Sarah Schrift and Sasha Markovic met through an ad on Craigslist and upon their first meeting wrote Second Stop. After a yearlong effort of long nights recording in a home studio in Brooklyn they had the raw makings of an album. Around this time Markovic met accomplished pianist Kana Kamitsubo. Kamitsubo not only helped to complete the album but she eventually completed Markovic; they ending up falling in love. The resultant album's theme organically became about the long road to love. The sours (Schrift, Markovic and Kamitsubo) would like to let their listeners know that love is found not just at the end of the road but where the road breaks off into new directions. *All of the artwork on the album was made by Sarah Schrift.
