Christopher LeMark has been working on something special since his 2011 release of MOTH. LeMark took a minor break to jump start his production company called Yellowhca. The company specializes in the development of youthful talent. After the company was established LeMark headed back into the studio and teamed up with The Beat Council ( Roberto Torres and Donald Ratney ) to begin creating the album that is appropriately titled Chasing Forward. The production varies while LeMark has been able to create this insightful theme of pushing towards something greater than himself. The album depicts a mans journey through a certain relationship, the culture surrounding him and what does it all mean if you can't evolve as a person. You will enjoy the theme of this album especially considering there is something for everyone on this project. The album also features a new artist from his Yellow imprint by the name of Shyann who has an amazing voice that builds anticipation for her solo release. The best way to describe this album in three words at best is soulful, unique and exciting.
