Hints of a sunny day festival, subtle tastes of the occasional happily march-along flute, blaring horns, jangly banjo... just about any instrument you can think of, and a truly genuine, soul-packed voice makes Tyler Lyle worthy of your ears. Some very outwardly sung tunes ring a bell similar to that engaged by Neutral Milk Hotel, while much more gentle ballads and a softer vocal approach resemble the works of artists like Damien Rice. In my opinion, that's a pretty pro feat.

The man is accompanied by two friends, playing a variety of styles and instruments and making for a vibrant collection of unique, yet familiarly comfortable music. Tyler has a sincere and honest interest in philosophy, spirituality of sorts, and acknowledgment of his, and everyone's unique, yet infinitely important role in this vast world which, perhaps, as Lao Tzu suggests, we aren't intended to understand. These thoughts from an intellectual, well-developed mind are reflected in his music.
