With influences ranging from the Beatles, Hank Williams, the Band, Tom Petty, the Rolling Stones, Elvis Costello, to more recent artists like Wilco and Ryan Adams, Milkman Daddy takes a wide range of inspiration and puts the focus on the songwriting. This album is as cohesive as a gathering on the back porch while still employing a diverse amount of instruments from acoustic and electric guitars, wooden box drums, banjo, piano, ukelele, dobro, cigar box guitar, and harmonica.
