Helene Immel is a new, fresh talent bound for stardom! At the age of 10, Helen began performing in venues in Southern California as a lead vocalist, and she recorded her first CD at the age of 12. Helene’s parents came to the US from Europe when Helen was a small girl. She is the oldest of 7 children, and she has an outstanding personality and vocal quality, drawing everyone to her whenever she sings. Tad Sisler ‘discovered’ Helene at the age of 14 when he heard her sing. Helene’s father Vladimir brought her into a nightclub where Tad Was performing, and Tad was blown away by her vocal quality. Over a period of four years, Tad co-wrote many of these songs with Helene and Vladimir, and included some of his classic originals as well. Tad produced this excellent CD featuring Helene, which tackles broad issues from teenage angst to true love and broken hearts. Helene’s vocal style is largely compared as a mixture between Norah Jones, Minnie Ripperton, Renee Olstead and Colbie Caillat, but truly she brings a sweetness and uniqueness to everything she records.
