This five-piece from America's Mid-South have already caught the eyes and ears of Mike Rimmer with their Lynyrd Skynyrd/Allman Brothers/Tom Petty-esque sound, so if that butters your rock cake than you'll know what to expect here. In this second release, Bigtone offer seven slices of rootsy rock, highlights of which are the swampy "Beautiful", which is also included in a seven minute extended mix, and the nifty instrumental "Absalom's Last Ride". Despite a definite retro vibe - or maybe because of it - this really works well.
