This is the follow up to "The Bruiser" released in 2006. "The Sways" features live in the studio recordings of 5 songs by singer/songwriter Chris Paul Overall. notes from the artist: "I recently got a hold of some studio out takes of the Beatles recording "Blackbird". On the recording you can tell that Paul McCartney is playing guitar singing and tapping his foot live. The vibe that was captured was the blackbird we all know and love. "The Sways" is my attempt at that same spirit. I'll make no apologies for the rawness or imperfections in what is portrayed here. I'm so happy with the recording because I think it is the first session I've ever done that's completely vulnerable. Hopefully people can appreciate that.
