"Smile" by Andy Mason (Featuring the vocals of Amber Wiley) is the product of the hard work of many people. Recorded entirely at SL studios in Portales, NM and engineered by Jake Jones, "Smile" was written and produced by Andy Mason. In a fortunate twist of fate, Amber Wiley, of Lubbock, TX, who was at SL studios to work on another track, was recruited to sing some backing vocals on "Smile". Amber hit it out of the park! After her vocal performance it was clear that we had something special going on with "Smile". It was soon decided that Amber's vocal should be the lead vocal accompanied by members of the Portales High School Choir. The piano was played by Mr. Franklin Smith and the trumpet by Mr. Joe Green, both local music teachers. "Smile" was created to be a gift to an organization called Smile Train. Smile Train provides cleft palete and cleft lip surgery to children all over the world. It is hoped that "Smile" will be the gift that keeps on giving as ALL proceeds from the sales of the song and video will go directly to Smile Train. Thanks for getting on the Train!
