Michael Antoniou’s singer/songwriting career began on the London music scene in the band ‘Fourth Inversion’ who maintained their profile for a few years until, by mutual agreement, the band split. After a short break, Michael completed his solo debut album entitled ‘Situations’ which contains 12 original tracks. The album has an overall pop/funk/dance feel, and it was nominated as a finalist in the ‘BEST ALBUM’ category as part of "The Glasswerk New Music Awards". Michael Antoniou has performed at many prestigious venues in London including The Rock Garden, The Verge, The Bullet Bar and The Half Moon to name a few. He has also performed around the Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire area and appeared on his local radio station ‘Diverse FM’ and featured in the local press. Michael Antoniou was signed to a local label called MK Vibe after they heard the track ‘Mesmerised’. Unfortunately the label was disbanded a few years later due to a lack of funding. He has now completed his second album titled ‘Idealistic’, containing 11 original tracks. The songs encompass the pop/funk/dance genres and the result has an overall ‘groovy’ feel to it. He is very excited about the ‘Idealistic’ project and is keen to get it out there, to be listened to, and enjoyed.
