简介
The Laughing Dogs first surfaced in the CBGBs Punk/New Wave scene. This energetic group has two albums on Columbia Records, songs on Atlantic Records' "Live at CBGB's" CD, and many indie CDs. The Long Lost Night was recorded in New York City at the Pink Crayon Studio. The Dogs' optimism shines throughout, from the spiritual insights of "The Long Lost Night" and "Children After Me" to the silly humor of "Coo Coo Papa" and "Stomach Man". Guest musicians include Adam Roth, Joe Biedwell, Paul Vercasi, and Eddy Dixon. ". . . You've got to love these guys. . . . Dynamic musical arrangements, fabulous harmonies, and great songs seem to be the Dogs' forte, and they use all three very wisely." - Stephen SPAZ Schnee, All Music Guide "THE LAUGHING DOGS . . . Their sound is made of fresh, exciting tunes and great vocal harmonies with a touch of humor that assures a good time for all." - MONDAY MORNING POWER PLAY "Take Revolver-era Beatles, Steely Dan, and the Rascals, put 'em in a blender---and do NOT skimp on the garlic and onions. Sharp, smart songwriting and at least three killer vocalists." - Mike Fornatale "The Dogs (as they're affectionately known) ended the Live at CBGB's LP with their killer "I Need A Million." Along with the Tuff Darts, Mink DeVille and the Shirts, the Dogs made that record the most successful of the New York compilations." - The Aquarian "POP TOP - It is a rare occurrence to confront a group that seems to genuinely enjoy playing night after night; New York City's Laughing Dogs are such a group . . . They are tight, fun and sincere." - B.H. THE HARTFORD COURANT - "enough raw energy, good tunes and innovation to please the most jaded listener - and enough infectious humor for half a dozen albums . . . Best of all the Dogs have real talent . . ." - Henry McNulty More Laughing Dogs CDs: "Hidden Bones" http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/laughingdogs2 Also see Jimmi Accardi's other CDs: "Rockin' & Jumpin'" http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/jimmiaccardi "Songs of the Gold Rush" http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/jimmiaccardi2 "Rockabilly Blues" http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/jimmiaccardi3
