Stories In Trance reaches the big 40 and we think this cracking release is a fitting way to mark that milestone. With great pride, we give you Max Stealthy with his Earthquake EP. Since getting his break with us all the way back in autumn 2011 with his stunning debut Charge EP (SIT #14) the supremely talented Polish producer Max 'Stealthy' Szalko has lit up the Stories In Trance catalogue on a frequent and consistently pleasing basis. We say it often enough, but in truth his work says it all: Max seems to have endless imaginative scope and wide ranging talent to match as he has taken several differing creative approaches to both his originals and the remixes he has successfully taken on to put out plenty of interesting and high quality offerings. If this is your first taste of Max's work then take a look back through his impressive back catalogue of productions here on Stories In Trance and we think you'll be pleased with what you find in there. But for now, there is Earthquake EP for your consideration. The title track from this EP is nothing short of brilliant, with some skilful production technique applied to allow the depth of atmospheric layering really make this one shine. A beautifully evocative piece of trance. Next is Imagine, which is pure uplifting trance. Along similar lines to Earthquake Max keeps this engaging by using some neat layering to best compliment the feel good lead melody. And to wrap up this potent little EP is Don't Forget Me, concluding things in a darker and more aggressive way - this one is Max Stealthy at his best, leaving with this driving epic track.
