I began recording an instrumental Cd of some of my favorite "impressionistic" artists when I came across a terrific young vocalist. I decided to incorporate her into the CD keeping with the basic premise of famous beautiful melodies. She sings great versions of "Scarborough Fair", "Danny Boy", "The Water Is Wide" and "Morningsong" (her own words with the melody most often known as "Morning Has Broken").

I have included some of my favorite melodies on flute, guitar and strings; Bach's " Arioso", Faure's "Sicilienne and Pavane", Debussy's "Girl With The

Flaxen Hair" and one original "Alita".
