Jesse Rufus Boateng Morgan was born to devoted Christian parents Bishop William Peter Morgan and Lucy Daisy Ayesu-Appiah in Kumasi, the second largest city in Ghana, West Africa. Second son and third in line among seven children. Boateng being his African name was named after His father’s bosom Minister friend Rev. Philip Anim Boateng as his godfather. Jesse started singing at the age of 10 and since the time the family moved to Accra, (Capital of Ghana) in the 80’s he has developed his singing talent to qualify him to be a member of the local Assemblies of God church youth choir were he normally sings lead. In the year 1998, Jesse formed a group called “The Heaven Blasters”. In Ghana West Africa Served as the leader of the band as well as the choir director to the Gospel Light International Church were he and his mother and two siblings Andrew and William Morgan junior fellowshipped. As a songwriter, composer and arranger, Jesse has featured in six major gospel albums besides assisting in composing and arranging songs for them. About four years ago he assisted “ The Opuni Sisters” in composing and arranging their debut album “LOOK AND LIVE” Jesse has an insatiable passion for music particularly worship songs those that takes you to the thrown room of God. His role models are Alvin Slaughter,Ron Kenoly, Kirk Franklin and Bebe Winans. A musical genius, Jesse presently serves as Music Director at the Vision International Ministries,a Teaching, Prophetic, Healing and Deliverance Ministry located in Inglewood, in the State of California in the United States of America, where his father and mother serve as Senior Pastors. Who Jesse is today in every area of his life is just because of the unmerited favor and the grace of God. Jesse is married to a Godly, virtuous, vivacious woman of God Called Rebecca Boateng Morgan.
