This Afferent album has come over 4 years of creating light and dark sounding Drum & Bass & Jungle. With the earlier tech step orientated 'Drop the Hammer', 'Type XXI' and 'Bring Out Your Dead' to the more liquid and dub sounding 'Vespa' and 'Toaster' the Afferent sound had been realised. The more vocal orientated 'What Would We Do', 'This Is What You Breathe For', 'Can't Get Away' , 'You've Got to Hold On', 'Weak' and the album titled 'I Can Stop Then' bought a new aesthetic to the Afferent sound with a more festival or club feel. 2012 tracks 'De Rasclat', 'I murder DJs', 'Corrected' and 'Purgatory' went back to the earlier harder tech-step sound.
