Urshan College, in Florissant, MO, is a dynamic choir of over 60 singers and musicians who are putting their own unique fingerprint on the genre of choir and worship music. Their sound is unique! Strong gospel vocals pair with contemporary guitars and driving grooves. Under the direction of Laura Payne, the choir has transformed itself into a leading-edge choral sound. Their spiritual energy is evident in every track. Under director Payne, the college has placed a emphasis on developing song writers and releasing original music. The powerful track, Lord's Cry, was written in response to the Paris bombings in the fall of 2015. Hallowed Be Your Name and The King's House are also powerful tracks written by student songwriting teams!
