简介
Echelon proudly presents the Anniversary Vol. II compilation sampler which marks the beginning of the 3rd year for the label. It includes exclusive tracks from various producers, some previously featured on the label, some appearing for the first time. The sampler has a generally fresh and energetic sound, anticipating the coming summer. We hope you find something that suits your sets and look forward with enthusiasm to the rest of 2010. --- 1. Tomas de Bray - Colibri (Original Mix) Driven by a pumping syncope bass line and the percussion development of the beginning, this progressive trancer gradually opens up with dubbed melodics and timbre. The melodies take over fully when pearly pianos and pads make way for the second part in a beautiful bridge sequence that unleashes the bass line for variation and lets the harmonies bloom in their full richness. 2. Ima'gin - Dragonfly (Original Mix) A speedy trance tune by Finnish producer Ima'gin, Dragonfly builds on elements and timbres that musically depict the masterful flier in its flashy light-reflecting colours. The hectic bass line, the electric lead drive, and the shiny synth stabs paint a scene of a bright day in the world of the dragonfly chasing prey at shimmering waters. 3. Roberd D. Handelskai - Tone Of Spring (Original Mix) A bit more down-tempo, Tone Of Spring is a fresh tune with a deep rhythmical groove and vibrant sound colours. The lively pulse of the track together with the positive melodic themes creates a perfect vibe and atmosphere for any summery progressive set. 4. Thomas Kandinsky - Time Has Come (Original Mix) The original mix of Time Has Come revolves around a central lead theme that changes pitch in a glissando fashion. The mid-break builds on a melodic theme variation which kicks off for the second part with release of the locked down bass line. The general feeling of the track is rather upbeat and positive. 5. Thomas Kandinsky - Time Has Come (Xtigma Remix) The Xtigma remix packs a bit more driving feel in it. The glide motif has subtly been added into the bass line and the original's theme transcribed for a sonorous lead guitar sound. The breakdown plays with the harmonies for a moment and the second part continues the pleasant ride with variations. 6. Jady Synthman - Lost (Original Mix) Jady Synthman gives some contrast to the sampler with Lost. Solitary synths in the background, a broken progressive beat and a plucked theme adorned with techy FX take the track into an emotional guitar break. The second part kicks off with a powerful lead theme, a variation of the guitar theme.
