DannyB is a Vietnam Veteran, singer/songwriter and a self taught musician. DannyB served in the Army, Americal Division, 11th LIB, Echo Company Recon, 1969-70. DannyB’s song lyrics are extremely powerful and full of emotion, whether it’s one of his songs about the 9-11 tragic events our nation faced in 2001, the lack of support many of our Vietnam Veterans faced upon their return home, to those who have died as a result of war or the deep feelings one faces with love and loss. DannyB has a unique ability through his writing to make the listener relate to their own feelings. DannyB began writing and playing at an early age and has continued throughout his adult life. Only recently has he decided to start publishing his songs, and especially after performing them at public venues where his audience’s encouragement convinced him to record them in a studio and share them with the general public. DannyB has written and produced many memorable songs about and for Veterans and in tribute of the September 11th, 2001 tragedies. His song, A Decade Ago won the 2011 Suggested Artist Songwriter Award. He has and continues to perform this song for numerous Sept 11th memorial events. DannyB also performs for many Veteran related and patriotic events. Through the years he has played for the VVA in Washington, DC; opening ceremonies for the various traveling replicas of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial; military division reunions and tribute rides. He supports many not-for-profit veterans organization through the sale and performances of his music. He performs his veteran related songs on his very special custom built Vietnam Veteran Tribute guitar which only adds to the artistry of his songs and performances. His album Learn How To Satisfy is a collection of mainly love songs and a little rock and roll mixed in. The title song Learn How To Satisfy was played at Woodstock ’99 for the ‘tent’ people who demanded he play that song every night while at the event. DannyB enjoys performing for live audiences and when not doing that, can usually be found in his studio practicing or writing a new song.
