简介
"No matter where you are in the psychobilly world the definition is the same, rockabilly and punk with a sub cultural twist. As an artist, you have to be clever to gain the respect and use what inspires you without being a carbon copy. The Creepin Cadavers have done just that with the release of first full length cd titled “Last Ride..”. With seamless transitions and brilliant interpretation they take each song and use it to tell a story while keeping the listener intrigued. "Starting with a creepy, carnival, music box intro and immediately being “welcomed into MURDERWORLD”, it won’t take long before you realize you’re consumed by the creative visuals this band was determined to deliver. Jeff Wright fronts the band with rockin’ guitar riffs, strong solos and a voice full of passion and raw conviction. Along side of him is Al Liptak, with ridiculously fast punk drum styles, and Scott Cummings who brings forth true to psychobilly bass technique. “Last Ride..” is the predecessor to their last ep “Welcome to Arkham”. Here they took their original concept and ran with it. From “Dead West” which starts with a bass solo accompanied by lyrics that are quiet and sincere, and written with the seriousness of wondering where life will take you, to “Blue Eyed Suicide” which has killer vocals and an almost hardcore feel. Lets not forget to mention the vampires, werewolves, and shots of whiskey and gin. "The last track on the disc sums its all up. “Father, Son and Holy Jack-o-Lantern” is a theme song for the people that love the music, love the night, and love to sing a long. “This is ours, this is yours, this is, our time” it wraps the disc up perfectly. The cd ends with an outro similar to the way the disc began and leaves you feeling as though you were just in a dream sequence. A complete package from beginning to end." - Trickstah Promotions
