The Chrysalis Project is a compilation of South African music artists in the pop, rock, metal, R 'n B, gospel, dance and hip hop genres. The compilation is due for release in 1st quarter 2013 in the South African market with a corresponding world wide digital release. The Chrysalis Project features 18 tracks from up-coming original independent artists. All the tracks have been produced by Jonathan Shaw through Shaw Music Studios. This project has been compiled to support the tremendous but untapped music talent in South Africa. All the tracks have been licensed to Ibilion Music for inclusion on the compilation. All songs have been written by the respective artists except One of a Kind written by Rishad Dookoo, Baba Siyabonga by mist tree, Farryl Roth and Sello Masenya, and Amazing Grace by John Newton.
