Emina Zecaj is the icon of Bosnia and Herzegovina female sevdah, responsible for the development, care and final affirmation of the female singing to saz (long neck lute). The production of this material was motivated by the need to preserve the repertoire as well as its interpretation, which in Emina Zeajs case is a quite unique aesthetic experience. On the technical side, our wish was to make Eminas singing sound as if you were listening to it live in your living room; this non-mediated beauty offers a new experience that we have quite forgotten.
