Three piece 21 year old Indy-Folk band. Formed in Manchester via JCoulson music 2012 . After a successful year James found lead guitarist Ryan and drummer Damo at Loughborough University where they all study. With the band composed of two lads from Manchester and one from London mixed with a great love for the film "Lock Stock and two smoking Barrels" the name "Fairy & the Monkeys" was born. With past performances at the Olympics,throughout the West coast of USA and BBC Radio, the band have written a new EP "Dreamers and the Dead" and are looking continue the momentum from the past EP "Romeo and Juliet" over the summer. " As a band we haven't tried to emulate a specific sound, with influence coming from various genres, be it Folk, Indy or Reggae, we have evolved a sound that is unique, fast tempo, and up lifting and we hope people that listen enjoy it" With the momentum built up in the UK, the aim is to bring our sound to the festivals and gigs, create a good vibe and give listeners some new music that they won't of heard before.
