简介
Expresso's debut album, "First Cup" was originally released on in 1982. Expresso's unique instrumental sound blends both acoustic and electric instruments creating a progressive mix of jazz / fusion and blues. When first released, "First Cup" received heavy airplay on KPEN, Northern California's top Jazz / Fusion radio station. Sales through Tower Records all over the Western US continually sold out. This led to opening for such bands as Tom Scott, Albert King, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Alan Holdsworth, Robben Ford, Roy Buchanan, David Lindley and the Dixie Dregs. Expresso continued to play throughout the 1980's and recorded a follow-up album called "2nd Wind". As the band pursued other interests, this recording sat dormant for over 30 years. Recently, we were able to convert the original tapes to digital and are proud to release it 30 years later! Both "First Cup" and "2nd Wind" are available via CDBaby in CD's and digital downloads. Enjoy!
