I consider myself first and foremost a songwriter. I have been honing my craft since the age of nineteen when I wrote my first tune. The idea that a song can touch people in so many different ways is what truly drives me to do what I do. Taking the listener on some kind of journey through the halls of my mind and trying to relate to them on a deeper level. You see, we songwriters possess the capability to summon the words and melodies to describe the many forms of human emotion and experience. Without a "soundtrack", life is too quiet. It's far better to make a little noise and let people know that they are not alone with their feelings...a songwriter always understands where you're coming from and will be glad to write about it.
