A Series of Tasteful Nudes is a series of sketches of various imaginary people. There's no overarching story, but there are several recurrent themes: neurosis, the way people compromise their principles for comfort, and the ephemerality of human life and fame. That all sounds kind of pretentious and depressing, but mostly the album is actually fairly humorous.

And yes, I know there's a book by the same title. I had this title and cover picked out many, many years before the book.
