简介

est. 1999 - a group of individuals devoted to entertaining the mind through the sonic nerves of the head. Description: Modern pop/rock [Travis & Elliott Smith meet The Beatles] Members: Joe Day - Guitar/Rhodes/Lead Vocals [24] Jeff Morrow - Bass/Rhodes/Vocals [21] Seth Fikkert - Drums [19] Jon Orange - Guitar/Rhodes/Vocals [19] Bio: Behind the vocal melodies and harmonies, Mindhead uses acoustic and electric guitars, Rhodes piano, drums, and bass [not to mention various other effects, conch shells, etc.]. Mindhead's music is at times mellow and introspective, at times explosive and fun...but always honest. Their style has influences from across the spectrum but can be best associated with Coldplay, Travis, and Elliot Smith. The band values creativity holistically, which means they present more than just music. They not only add creative twists to performances, but also create everything that has the name Mindhead attached to it. From the music to the album art, the web site, and even posters. Each part represents a different aspect of the whole. It all stems from ideas birthed between the members of Mindhead and their greater community of friends. Mindhead has a strong and growing fan base in NW Washington and plays shows regularly in Seattle, Bellingham, and Mt. Vernon. Friends and fans often participate by making shirts, posters, signs, etc. that they wear and bring to shows to show their support. "Mindhead's fans rock." Location: Mt. Vernon, Washington, USA.
