Wintergreen is: Alice Spatz on acoustic bass and mandolin, Jared Polens on hammered dulcimer and Larry Spatz on guitar. All three participate in creating their intricate vocal harmonies and instrumental arrangements. This is the group's third recording. Their focus is on interpreting traditional folk songs and modern songs written in the folk tradition, including many that they write themselves. Their intent is to keep folk music vibrant and relevant to as wide an audience as possible. They have been actively performing throughout northeastern US for two decades and have also toured in Germany.
