Hayk Hakobyan better known as Hayko is an Armenian singer. Hayko was trained in music at a music school after T.Chukadjyan. Then went on with a music college after Romanos Melikyan. He attended the Yerevan State Conservatory after Komitas.

In 1996 he participated in the «Moscow 96″ festival and was awarded with the 1st prize. In 1997 Hayko won the 1st prize at the «Big Apple» festival in New York, USA. In 1998 he was acknowledged as «The Best Author – Performer» at the «Ayo» Author’s Competition. In 1999, 2003 he was nominated for «The Best Singer» award. Also, In 2003 he gave his first solo concert at the «Alex Theatre» in the USA. Later on May 27, he gave a solo performance in Yerevan and recorded a DVD called «Live Concert» . In 2003 he recorded his first author’s CD called «Norits» («Again»).

Hayko entered the 2007 Eurovision Song Contest for Armenia with the song Anytime You Need, written by Karen Kavalerian! The song won the 8th place in the contest.
