This album is the result of a collaboration between two composer-violinists: Ricardo Odriozola (Spanish, living in Norway) and Olga Wojciechowska (Polish, living in Poland). Together with the German cellist Sebastian Dörfler (another Norwegian resident) the project was built around a number of pieces for string trio by both composers. It then grew by way of Ricardo's arrangements of Olga's music and was completed by a piece entirely produced and recorded by Olga. The result is a cohesive but very eclectic musical journey that takes the listener through several styles: contemporary classical, folk, tango, flamenco, rock and atmospherics, and many grey areas in between. Ideal for music lovers with an open mind and a desire to explore music's many dialects.
