Franz Furrer's "eng/weit/lento" - the composition that originally sparked production of this CD - has been performed in Japan and elsewhere by its devotees Daniel Buess and Christoph Bösch, alias "B&B". This substantial work lends itself to multiple interpretations, thus making it most pliable to musicians' individual pleasure in performance. The CD was produced at the instigation of "B&B" as a birthday gift to Franz Furrer-Münch. It is an antology of solos and duets composed for flute, saxophone and percussion. Sascha Armbruster is the third confedeate in the rendition of "ans ungereimte verdingt", as solo work dedicated to him by the composer.
